Annual Report
Measuring Success
If you would like to let us know your views which will help us in setting the policing priorities, please click below.
Throughout the year we receive detailed reports from the Chief Constable setting out the Force's performance against the targets we have set it in our local policing plan. In addition to this formal monitoring we also gain a valuable impression of how the Force is performing through our regular attendance at local consultative committees. In addition, we make regular visits throughout the year to various Operational Command Units(OCUs) and departments to learn more about how the Force is operating. These visits also give us the opportunity to meet officers and civilian support staff to understand their views.
Following the end of each year - which for our purposes ends on 31 March - We are required by law to publish an annual report as soon as possible after the end of the year. This must include an assessment of the success the Force has had in implementing our local policing plan for that year. We also use this document to comment on wider aspects of the policing of the area and on our own work and performances.
