Have your say at Police Authority and Committee Meetings

To welcome active involvement of the public about matters which relate to business of the Authority or its committees, we have approved a new facility to enable you to make representations or ask questions at our meetings.

Representations

If you wish to make representations, you will need to attend the meeting and make a statement in person lasting no more than 5 minutes. You may be asked questions by members of the Authority.

Questions

If you are putting a question to the meeting you will need to attend to read it out in person. You may be asked questions by members of the Authority. You will either receive an answer to your question at the meeting or in writing after the meeting. In any event you will be supplied with a copy of your answer in writing.

Tell us in writing

You will need to tell us what you want to make representations about in writing or by email at least 4 clear days before the meeting. If you are asking a question you must set out your question in writing. Dates of our meetings are published on our website at www.west-midlands-pa.gov.uk

What will happen?

Representations and questions will be dealt with in public and the meeting may be attended by the public and press.

Am I eligible?

This facility applies to anybody who lives, works or studies in the West Midlands.
